I dont get this part:
Before we can start we have to make sure the DNS is authoritative for the designated domain:
dig +short +identify @foo.com f.root-servers.net. from server 19.170.88.100 in 23 ms.
Where 19.170.88.100 is the host we run the DNS server on.
Why not: ? dig +short +identify ns foo.com
ns2.transip.net. from server 194.109.9.99 in 8 ms. ns1.transip.net. from server 194.109.9.99 in 8 ms. ns0.transip.net. from server 194.109.9.99 in 8 ms.
